Welcome to the marketplace of organic products!
Organic Farming is a new practice in Armenia. Starting 2002, with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and EPER, Shen NGO located in Yerevan, started to implement a project called “Strengthening Organic Agriculture in the South Caucasus.” We pride ourselves with the following accomplishments:
- committed and knowledgeable team of extensionists
- a pool of enthusiastic and open-minded farmers ready to pioneer in a new direction
- an assortment of fresh and dried fruits, vegetables and herbs grown and processed organically
- a local certification system in place
- good knowledge of and good relationship with stakeholders and partners who are interested in development of organic production in Armenia
- And last, but not least, firm determination to become a country- producer of organic products for international and local markets
